Seberang Jaya's Wednesday pasar malam (夜市) is the mid-week market for one of the mainland's busiest townships. My Weekend Plan's 2026 list places it at Lorong Tenggiri 23 in Seberang Jaya, starting from around 5pm, and describes it as less famous than the island markets but with plenty of authentic charm.
Food runs the usual pasar malam gamut – fried noodles and satay through to kuih and fresh fruit – along with everyday goods. It is a natural dinner stop for people working around Perai, Seberang Jaya and the Sunway Carnival and AEON Seberang Prai City malls, and a good introduction to mainland night markets if you have only visited the island ones.
Schedule: both My Weekend Plan (July 2026) and the JomPasarMalam directory list the Seberang Jaya market on Wednesday (Rabu). A closing time was not given, so we list the time as from about 5pm; most pasar malam wind down between 10pm and 11pm, but please treat the end time as unconfirmed. An older 2015 list also mentions a Tuesday market at Taman Siakap, Seberang Jaya – a different site.
