ESCAPE Penang is an outdoor adventure and water park in Teluk Bahang, offering exciting rides and games set in a natural environment. It is open daily from 10am to 6pm, with the waterplay zone opening at 11am, making it a solid full-day plan for the year-end school holidays (5–31 December 2026 for Penang schools).
The park is home to four Guinness World Records: the world's longest tube water slide, the zip coaster, the tubby racer and the largest tipping bucket. ESCAPE also runs BASE CAMP overnight stays, team-building and school programmes.
Buying online can save up to 30% compared with walk-in prices. Family & Friends and BASE CAMP tickets need to be booked at least one day ahead (two days for team building and the Greenie programme). ESCAPE uses facial-recognition ticketing, so every visitor must register their face before arriving – do this at home to save time at the gate.
Check the park's swimwear policy before packing, bring sunblock, towels and a change of clothes, and consider the optional personal accident protection offered online. Arrive at opening time to enjoy the dry attractions before the water zone opens and the midday sun peaks. Entopia is next door if you want to split the trip over two days.
