Sunway Medical Centre Penang is hosting the Elfy Fun Run 4 You, a 5km fun run on Sunday 15 November 2026 centred on the hospital grounds in Seberang Jaya. The hospital pitches it as a celebration of health and community spirit, open to seasoned runners and casual joggers alike.
Entry is RM35 at the early-bird rate and RM45 at the normal rate. Every participant gets an event tee, a finisher medal, refreshments (water and a bun) and an e-certificate. Registration is handled through Ticket2u, linked from the hospital's event page.
A 5km route on a Sunday morning is a manageable goal for beginners, office colleagues, or parents who want a gentle workout before the day gets going. It is also a handy warm-up for anyone building up to longer December races in the state.
The flag-off time and route have not been published on the event page yet, so check the Ticket2u listing or call the hospital (+604-373 9191) closer to the date. As with any morning run in Penang, aim to arrive early, bring your own water bottle, and wear a cap – the sun rises quickly in Seberang Jaya. Families based on the mainland can pair the run with breakfast at one of the many Seberang Jaya food streets afterwards.
