Mercure Penang Beach is throwing a Halloween night called Boo & Bites on Saturday 31 October 2026 from 7pm. As the name suggests, food is a big part of it: tickets at RM65 nett per person include a mini buffet, plus Halloween-themed games and entertainment.
Costumes are encouraged, with prizes up for grabs for the best-dressed guests, and the hotel promotes the evening as a night out with music, drinks and good vibes. Drinks beyond what is included in the package were not detailed in the listing, so assume they are extra unless the hotel tells you otherwise.
Seats are limited, according to the organiser's listing, and reservations are taken through WhatsApp (wa.link/iw7lgp). Because the details come from the hotel's own event listing rather than a full menu or programme, check the buffet line-up and dress-up rules when you book.
Who is it for? Groups of friends, couples and families who want a low-key Halloween with food included, without heading into the bar crowds in George Town. Plan your costume early, arrive close to 7pm so you don't miss the buffet, and use Grab if you are drinking – the Tanjung Bungah coastal road can be busy on Saturday nights.
