The Eastern & Oriental Hotel brings back its Jazz Brunch at Planters Lounge on two Sundays this season: 8 November and 6 December 2026, from 12.30pm to 3.30pm. Note that these are the only two dates – it is not a weekly brunch.
The draw is a brunch buffet with live music from De Leon Jazz Experience featuring Claudia; the same band also plays the E&O's year-end jazz programme. Planters Lounge sits on the sea-facing side of the hotel, so it is a relaxed spot for a long, lazy Sunday lunch.
There are three price tiers. RM188 nett covers the buffet with breakfast juices, coffee and tea. RM288 nett adds free-flow wines, beers and house pouring spirits, and RM388 nett adds sparkling wine on top of that. The buffet menu itself had not been published at the time of writing.
Who is it for? Couples, friends catching up and families with older kids who enjoy live music. The 6 December session falls in the festive build-up, so it makes an easy pre-Christmas get-together. Book ahead through the E&O's reservations line on +604 222 2000 or fbcentral.resv@eohotels.com, arrive close to 12.30pm to get the full three hours, and skip driving if you choose a free-flow package.
