Penang Comedy, the promoter behind regular stand-up nights around George Town, closes its 2026 calendar with Nuha, a comedian from the Maldives, on Friday, 11 December 2026 at Capri by Fraser on Jalan Magazine. The show is part of her debut tour, Island Girl.
Nuha's material takes a cheeky, very personal look at life, love, ageing and ambition, and especially at the absurd expectations placed on women. The organiser describes it as a no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point set, and it is strictly for adults – expect frank language and grown-up topics.
Tickets on Ticket2U start from RM39, which makes it one of the more affordable comedy nights of the season. It is a good pick for a Friday night out with friends or colleagues, and for anyone who enjoys hearing perspectives from comics outside the usual Malaysia–Singapore circuit.
Capri by Fraser is right beside the Komtar and Prangin Mall area, so getting there is easy: park at Komtar or Prangin, or take a Rapid Penang bus into Komtar and walk a few minutes. For dinner, the hawker stalls and kopitiam around Jalan Magazine, Lebuh Campbell and Penang Road are all within walking distance, and there is plenty of late supper nearby once the show ends.
