Let Me Be 2026 (《Let Me Be》林奕辰现场音乐会) is a one-night concert by Marcus Lim, a Penang-based vocal coach, music educator and stage performer, at the hall of SJKC Aik Hua in Sungai Ara on Saturday, 5 December 2026.
Backed by a live band, Marcus will sing a mix of familiar classics and songs that have shaped his own musical journey, tying them together with stories about growing up, perseverance, love and learning to be yourself. The concert is in English, Mandarin and Hokkien and runs around two and a half hours without an interval, so it feels more like a full evening of music than a quick showcase.
It is a community-scale show with a warm, home-town feel – ideal for families, music students (including those who have trained with him), and anyone who enjoys Mandopop and English ballads sung live. Standard and Premium tickets are free seating, while VIP tickets come with a numbered seat. Note that children aged five and below are not allowed in. Besides CloudJoi, the organiser also takes ticket enquiries via WhatsApp, with numbers listed on the ticketing page.
Sungai Ara is in the south-central part of the island, a short drive from Bayan Lepas and Relau. Arrive by 7pm when entry opens, and consider an early dinner at the Sungai Ara or Relau hawker centres nearby. Driving or e-hailing is the practical option for an evening event here.
