The Kang Har Tong Run @ Penang is a community fun run organised by the Kang Har Tong United Youth Association (江夏堂联合青年团), flagging off at 7am on Sunday 6 December 2026 from Bangunan Kang Har Tong in George Town. The organisers describe it as a fun-filled event to promote health and fitness and to bring sports enthusiasts from across Malaysia together.
Entry is RM50 per runner, and there is a group special of RM400 for nine people (buy eight, get one free), which works out to about RM44.45 each – handy for running clubs, offices or extended families. Every runner gets an event T-shirt, finisher medal and goodie bag, plus a shot at the lucky draw. There is also a Best Costume award, so dressing up is very much encouraged.
