Medhealth Pharma Expo 2026 is listed on the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) business events calendar for 8 to 10 December 2026 at the Penang Waterfront Convention Centre (PWCC) in The Light City, Gelugor. As the name suggests, it is a pharmaceutical and health-sector exhibition, adding to a busy year-end run of medical meetings in Penang that also includes the respirology and arthroscopy congresses at Setia SPICE in late November.
Based on the calendar listing, the show is aimed at healthcare and pharmaceutical professionals, suppliers and industry participants rather than the general public. Expect a trade-style floor where pharmacists, clinic operators, hospital procurement teams and distributors can look at products and network with suppliers. Detailed information – the organiser, opening hours, exhibitor list and whether walk-in visitors are allowed – had not been published on the sources we could access, so treat this listing as a date-saver and confirm details before you go.
The state has been positioning medical technology as the next chapter of its high-value manufacturing story, so a pharma-focused expo at PWCC fits the wider picture. If you work in a community pharmacy or private clinic on the island or in Seberang Perai, it may be worth blocking out a morning.
Getting there: PWCC is beside The Waterfront Shoppes off Lebuhraya Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu, roughly midway between George Town and Bayan Lepas. Driving is the easiest option; the new mall next door should offer food and coffee during breaks.
Tips
- Confirm with PCEB or the organiser whether visitor registration is needed
- Pair with lunch at The Waterfront Shoppes next door
