Hard Rock Hotel Penang has put out its Christmas 2026 line-up, and the two buffets are the ones most families will be looking at. On Christmas Eve, Thursday 24 December, Starz Diner runs a festive buffet from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. The hotel says the spread includes freshly shucked oysters, Boston lobster, snow crab legs and sashimi, together with a carving station and Christmas desserts.
Two days later, on Saturday 26 December, LEÑA at Pizzeria hosts a Boxing Day buffet dinner over the same hours. Here the focus is fresh seafood, wood-fired dishes and roasted meats, with festive desserts and Italian pastries to finish. It costs less than the Christmas Eve buffet, so it works well if you would like a relaxed beach dinner after the busy Christmas weekend.
Both buffets come with an early-bird rate if you book by 15 December, and Hard Rock Stage Pass members get the lowest prices of all. Seniors and children aged 5 to 12 pay less. If you would rather have a plated meal, the same Christmas page also lists four-course set dinners at Hard Rock Cafe on Christmas Eve and at LEÑA on Christmas Day.
Tips: Christmas Eve is usually the busiest night of the year on the Batu Ferringhi strip, so book early and plan for slow traffic along Jalan Batu Ferringhi in the evening.
