The TOP Penang at KOMTAR is marking Halloween with Fright of Darkness 3: Dendam Pontianak. It runs for two nights only, 31 October and 1 November 2026, from 4pm to 11.30pm, according to The TOP's promotions page. The theme comes from the pontianak of Malay folklore, which also features in The TOP's Pontianak Haunted House on Level 5. The TOP recommends the haunted house for visitors aged 13 and above, so younger children may find the event too scary.
The TOP has not published event ticket prices on its website. Tickets are sold through its OnlyTicket platform, so check there for current rates and any MyKad pricing. For enquiries, The TOP lists WhatsApp +60 17-289 0800 and phone +60 17-289 0366.
If horror isn't your thing, The TOP has a few ongoing deals. GP Meta Kart costs RM35 for adults and RM29 for children, but only at The TOP outlet. Afternoon Tea in the Sky at the Level 68 Top View Restaurant costs RM88 and is served from 10am to 5pm. The Malaysia Best Cultural Show with heritage food is also RM88 per person, from Wednesday to Sunday, with sessions at 3.30pm and 7.30pm in the Level 6 Cultural Hall. Popcorn from UPOP on Level 5 costs RM6 a pack every day.
The Rainbow Skywalk and Observatory Deck on Level 68 normally open from 10am to 10pm, with shorter hours to 7pm on Tuesdays. Pair a Halloween visit with sunset views from the top of KOMTAR.
