Entopia, the butterfly and insect park in Teluk Bahang, runs a deal for locals every Tuesday. Under its Penang Kia Day promotion, which is valid until 31 December 2026, Penang MyKad holders get 30% off walk-in admission. That brings the adult ticket down to RM45.50 and the child or senior ticket to RM31.50. The usual MyKad prices are RM65 and RM45.
To qualify, your MyKad must carry Penang state code 07, 34 or 35, or show a Penang address. You can also bring proof of Penang residency. Each Penang MyKad gets one discounted ticket, and you may bring one Malaysian friend from outside Penang at the same price. You must pay cashless, by card or e-wallet, at the ticket counter. The deal is not available online and cannot be combined with family packages or other promotions.
If Tuesday doesn't suit you, Entopia has other ways to save. Walk-in family packages for MyKad holders start at RM202 for two adults and two children. A Meals + Tix Combo bundles admission with lunch at Tapestree Cafe, from RM175 for two MyKad adults or RM60 for one MyKad child. Entopia by Night, the biofluorescent garden, opens from Thursday to Sunday, 7pm to 10pm, and must be booked online in advance.
Entopia is mostly under cover, which makes it a good choice on rainy days during the school holidays. Pair it with a stop in Teluk Bahang or Batu Ferringhi.
