Gurney Plaza, which marks its 25th anniversary this year, has lined up a Christmas & New Year Countdown programme from 25 to 31 December 2026. The mall says to expect festive Christmas décor, immersive installations, gifting campaigns and holiday performances that build up to the New Year countdown.
Gurney Plaza sits right on the Gurney Drive seafront, so it is an easy add-on to an evening at the Gurney Drive hawker centre or a stroll along the promenade. Inside, the mall's 380-odd stores make it a one-stop spot for last-minute gifts.
Who is it for? Families, couples and friends who want a festive, central spot for Christmas week without paying for a ticketed party. Detailed performance times had not been released when we checked, so keep an eye on the mall's website and social pages for the line-up.
Tip: traffic on Gurney Drive and Jalan Kelawai gets very heavy in the last week of December, so consider Grab or the bus and give yourself time to find parking.
