McDonald's Happy Meal Spider-Man: Brand New Day Keychains 2026 (Penang)

McDonald's Malaysia's mid-year Happy Meal series tied in with Spider-Man: Brand New Day. McDonald's described the toys as collectible keychains, each with its own spider-themed design. All 10 came free with every Happy Meal from 10am on 23 July 2026, through McDelivery, Drive-Thru or at the restaurant.

Syioknya's listing shows the keychains came out two per week, starting on 23 July and finishing on 20 August. Its toy names describe each one as a small backpack-style keychain in a different colourway, such as the McDonald's x Spider-Man design, Black & Pink, and Black Spider-Man Heart. The listing gives the end date as 26 August, after which the squishy mystery toy promotion took over on 27 August.

We have used Syioknya's names for each design in the table below, because McDonald's itself did not publish names on its promotion page. If you are buying second-hand to complete a set, compare the colours with the seller's photos, as several designs look alike.

This series has ended. The toys are no longer given out, so second-hand trading is now the main way to fill gaps. The current Happy Meal series is SpongeBob SquarePants x One Piece, running from 22 October 2026 at outlets across Penang Island and Seberang Perai.

Tips

• Ended in late August 2026. Look for leftovers on Carousell and in Penang collector groups.
• Keychains clip onto school bags, so check clasps and rings for wear when buying second-hand.
• Several colourways look alike in photos. Ask sellers for a clear front-and-back shot.
• Swap duplicates in public places such as a mall food court.
