McDonald's Happy Meal SpongeBob x One Piece Toys 2026 (Penang)

McDonald's Malaysia's current Happy Meal collection crosses Bikini Bottom with the Grand Line. There are 10 SpongeBob SquarePants x One Piece toys in total, and McDonald's says each one comes free with every Happy Meal from 22 October 2026, starting at 10am. You can get them through dine-in or takeaway at the counter, Drive-Thru or McDelivery.

The toys arrive two at a time each week. SpongeBob as Luffy and Patrick as Zoro kicked things off, followed by Squidward as Sanji and Sandy as Nami on 29 October. Mr. Krabs and Gary take on Jinbe and Chopper on 5 November, Larry and Plankton play Franky and Usopp on 12 November, and the last pair, Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen as Brook and Pearl as Robin, lands on 19 November. Release dates and the full line-up are taken from SAYS and Syioknya's coverage of the launch. Syioknya lists the promotion as running until 25 November, but toys are while stocks last, so popular pairs may run out at busy outlets before then.

In Penang the toys should be available at McDonald's outlets on the island and the mainland. We have listed a spread of outlets from McDonald's own store locator, from Prangin Mall and Queensbay Mall to the Drive-Thrus at Bagan Ajam, Juru and IKEA Batu Kawan. Busy mall outlets may run through a new pair faster on weekends, so a weekday visit can be a safer bet if you are after a particular character.

The Happy Meal set options mentioned in coverage include Chicken Burger, 4-piece Chicken McNuggets, Cheeseburger, Ayam Goreng McD, and breakfast choices such as Sausage McMuffin and 2pc Hotcakes. Prices vary by set and channel, so check the McDonald's app or the menu board at your outlet.

Tips

• Go on the Thursday a new pair drops, or the day after. New designs land from 10am.
• Ask the counter staff which designs they still have before you order.
• Missed an early pair? Try asking at a few different outlets, such as the Drive-Thrus at Bagan Ajam, Bandar Perda or Bertam, as stock varies from outlet to outlet.
• Swap duplicates with friends or in local Penang collector groups on Facebook and Carousell. Agree on condition (sealed or opened) before you meet.
• Keep the toys sealed if you plan to trade, as complete sealed sets are easier to swap.
