Design Village, the outlet mall in Bandar Cassia near the Second Penang Bridge, is marking Deepavali with "The Light of Deepavali" redemption. From 23 October 2026, spend RM300 or more in a single receipt at any outlet in the mall and you can claim one exclusive peacock bowl – a gold-toned decorative piece that suits a Deepavali open house table or kolam display.
The fine print matters here. Receipts must be from the same day you redeem, only one redemption is allowed per customer per day, and the gift is available only while stocks last. Terms and conditions apply, and the mall has not said how many bowls are available, so earlier is better.
Because the RM300 has to be in one receipt, plan to make your bigger purchase in a single shop. Outlet prices at Design Village mean RM300 can go a long way – sports shoes, a handbag, or a few pieces of festive wear. Check what each outlet is running at the time; brands at the mall regularly post their own discounts on Design Village's Promotions page.
If you have kids with you, the mall's DV Fun Club weekend workshops make a good add-on. Design Village is about 10 minutes from the Batu Kawan end of the Second Bridge, with IKEA Batu Kawan nearby.
